This will be a 2-week class. The first class, you will trim and paint your pinecones. You’d be surprised how pretty pinecones can be when they are simply painted!  No more brown, bulky pinecones, instead there will be a demonstration how to cut them and trim them to look pleasing.  You will paint them as simple or fancy as you’d like; no artistic talent needed!    We have been cutting the pinecones for the class because it takes time, but bring a small wire cutter, small pliers, or snippers if you have them so that you can trim the pinecones’ petals to make them look like flowers.

There are so many different things you can make with the painted pinecones, and we will have pictures posted with ideas. 

The second week we will glue them on grapevine wreaths, straw wreaths, or small tree branches to make a wall or door hanging.…
