Denver Fire’s Community Risk Reduction Group's primary purpose is to help reduce risk in the surrounding communities through education, resources, and emergency response. This team offers several free classes throughout the city that provide essential safety information to help residents protect their loved ones, prepare for emergencies, and respond effectively if they occur. This class will focus on fall prevention.

The DFD will also be providing information on Denver’s free smoke detector replacement program. The DFD will provide two free combination detectors (smoke and carbon monoxide) with 10-year lithium batteries, along with free installation—eliminating the need for yearly battery replacements and the inconvenience of the “dead battery chirp.” You may also receive a door hanger with information on this program in the coming weeks. Please let us know if you will attend this informational class. The Club will also provide a light breakfast!
