Geocaching is a fun and engaging hobby for persons of all ages and abilities. Simply put, Geocachers use billion dollar GPS satellites to find Tupperware hidden in the woods. This event will be an opportunity to learn about Geocaching, and how easily you can become a part of it.
What is geocaching? Geocaching is the world’s largest treasure hunting game. Geocaching is the real-world adventure that's happening right now, all around you. Over 3 million cleverly hidden containers called geocaches are hidden all over the world just waiting to be found. As a matter of fact, within 1 mile of the Clubhouse there are 19 hidden caches; 55 within 2 miles, and 118 within 3 miles.
Who hides geocaches? People just like you! Geocaches are a labor of love. They are created by individuals in the global geocaching community.
What is being looked for? Geocache containers come in all shapes…
