FV resident, Laurel Mills, has graciously offered to give us a tour of The Wild Animal Sanctuary in Keenesburg, CO. This sanctuary specializes in rescuing and caring for large predators who are ill or no longer able to be cared for by their previous owners. The cost for this event is the entrance fee to TWAS and is to be paid upon arrival.

Age: 13-69- $50

Age: 70+- $20

Transportation will not be provided, but we do encourage and can help arrange carpools to caravan to the Sanctuary. The caravan will leave the clubhouse parking lot at 3:15PM to be at the Sanctuary by 4PM. This event will include a personal tour from Laurel. Please bring a picnic dinner to enjoy together, or if you'd rather, you could purchase food from the cafe there. There is a covered area with tables for dinner. The Sanctuary closes at sunset which is estimated to be at 7:30pm on this date. We are limiting the tour to 8 people and will create a waitlist and second date if needed!
