2022 Irrigation Shut Off Notice and Schedule for Fairway Villas Bungalows: October 10



Monday, October 10th, 2022 - Bungalows Irrigation Shut Off


Apart from the Bungalow Homes located in Phase 1, the technicians will be able to turn off all irrigation systems for Phase 2 Bungalow Homes without any need to enter individual homes. For all Bungalow Homes located in Phase 1, the technicians will have to enter your garage in order to access your irrigation controller. The Phase 1 lot of Bungalow homes are scheduled to be activated first thing on Monday morning, October 10th. From 8 AM - 10 AM, all Bungalow Homes located in Phase 1 can expect a knock on their door from an Emerald Isle technician. All they will need in order to complete this service is quick access to your garage and irrigation controller. If you are located in a Phase 1 Bungalow and you or a member of your family will not be home from 8 AM - 10 AM on Monday, please email fvsubdistrictmanager@gmail.com as soon as possible to let us know so we can make alternative arrangements.


Turn Off Your Water This Weekend – October 8th or 9th


Included in this communication are instructions for completing the turn-off of your irrigation system. Please have your irrigation system water off any time before Monday October 10th when our technicians will be in the community.


Please Do Not throw away the drain cap on either the shut-off valve inside or the drain elbow outside on the backflow.


Please make sure that any locks on gates are unlocked and that dogs are inside so that our technicians will have access to the irrigation backflow and timer located outside your unit.


Technicians will make two attempts to check and verify water has been shut off to the backflow. If you are unable to winterize (turn-off) your irrigation system water, please contact fvsubdistrictmanager@gmail.com as soon as possible. If the irrigation system water is found off, our technicians will complete the winterization process outside your home.


This irrigation system winterization service is only for the front yard irrigation system maintained by the Subdistrict. Homeowners are responsible for the maintenance (including the winterization) of backyard irrigation systems. The Subdistrict is not responsible for and does not assume liability for homeowner-maintained irrigation systems.


IMPORTANT NOTE


If you fail to turn off your irrigation system prior to the schedule date listed in this communication, please be advised, that you will assume full responsibility for the proper winterization of the irrigation system at your residence.
