Old Fashioned Recipe

Thanks to everyone who came to the Mixology presentation this past Friday.

As requested, here is the cocktail build:

INGREDIENTS (Weight/Measure)

• Bourbon 2 oz (Choice of Bourbon, we used Bulleit)

• Simple Syrup 1/2 oz (we were doing about 1 oz)

• Angostura Bitters 3 dash

• Cherry, Maraschino 1 each

• Orange Peel 1 each

SERVICE PIECE

• Rocks Glass

PROCEDURE

Always make sure all work areas and utensils are clean and sanitary.

1. Fill a mixing glass with ice

2. Add 2 oz Bourbon, 1/2 oz Simple Syrup, and 3 dashes of Angostura Bitters.

3. Stir until cold and well mixed

4. Strain into an ice-filled rocks glass

5. Garnish with cherry and orange peel
